In collaboration with St Fagans: National History Museum we are offering a unique opportunity for women living in Cardiff and Barry to take part in an exciting new art project.

If you're interested in art, and would like to experience a variety of different art forms, gain new skills both creative and technical, and create your own artworks - this is the project for you.

Supported by professional artists, you are invited to take part in local workshops, go behind the scenes at St Fagans: create your own work of art and exhibit in a group show in Oriel 1, St Fagans.

Workshops will be held in a variety of local venues and will commence from March – September 2010. The exhibition will run from September – December 2010.

Priority will be given to women living in areas such as Riverside, Butetown, St Mellons, Gibbonsdown, and Castleland. Experience in art is not necessary.

The project offers free workshops, gallery visits and support such as crèche, transport and interpretation/translation services.

Dates and venues to be confirmed.
