Summer - July, August 2010

Welcome to the Summer season of exciting, digital arts taught workshops, covering a range of practical and thought-provoking techniques.

With only three students per tutor, workshops are supportive, friendly and respond to individual needs.

Led by our experienced and dedicated tutors, the Digital Studio provides opportunities to explore and experiment with digital technologies as a way of developing artistic practice.

Alternatively, join together as a group and book a tailor-made session adjusted to suit your needs and level of experience.

Learn how to import footage, work on the timeline, and incorporate cutting, effects, transitions and text.

Learn manipulating and sizing images, playing with tools and effects and optimising existing imagery.

Lets hear it from the Masterclass!

Seminar with Rhian Haf Jones

Masterclass artist Rhian Haf Jones, places site-specific glass works within rural environments. She will be discussing her project and these techniques, which have involved time-lapse filming, on location and using editing software to capture the transient nature of light.

Timelapsed: film making

Working with professional filmmaker and multimedia artist Bambo Soyinka, this one-day workshop will cover timelapse filming techniques and editing in Final Cut Pro.
