This year’s Annual General Meeting took place in the Theatre Space at The Gate Arts Centre in Cardiff. Approximately forty members attended the event, which included inspirational digital art from Maria Hayes. Members engaged in a collective performance to produce large group drawings as part of a digital projection.
Maria is an artist based in North Wales and has exhibited work nationally since 1986 in solo and group shows, installations and performances. Maria used the AGM as an opportunity to explore digital techniques developed during a Digital Arts Masterclass with the Women’s Arts Association. www.mariahayes.info

An Introduction to Artist Residencies
Thursday 4th September, 6 - 8pm.

Two guest artists, Jackie Chettur and Holly Davey, will discuss their experiences and challenges as artists-in-residence, the impact residencies have on their practice and will lead an informal question and answer session.
This event is for all artists who want to know more about the many opportunities available and how to approach the planning and delivery of various projects.
