Journals Exhibition's

Journals Exhibition, Dec – April 08, Oriel 1, St Fagans: National History Museum, St Fagans, Cardiff.

The Journals project was invited to exhibit at the new gallery space and provide community groups and visitors with a programme of events and drop-in art workshops led by project artists. The Journals exhibition ran alongside the Postcards From Home project launched in January 2008. Events included a Community Arts Day, Community Arts Seminar and celebrations for International Womens Day.

The exhibition threw its doors open to our Journals groups, offering them first peak at the installations of their work. They caught up with old friends, listened to speeches, were serenaded by a roaming violist, whilst surrounded by their creations, which included; digital projections; framed prints; cases of masks; various artefacts; a flying journal; and cascading embroidery.
